Policies and Procedures
Each training session conducted by codingEdge Training is carefully structured to ensure the best learning outcomes for your trainees. Many aspects may be inconspicuous, such as a safe configuration of the the training venue or the thorough analysis of training material prior to delivery. We aim for excellence by attentively considering each training element. These are the key policies and procedures that define our training ethos.
Safety
Safety in our training courses is extremely important to us. Risk assessments are conducted for each course and include all elements, including trainee seating arrangements, equipment layout, trainee participation protocols and evacuation procedure for the venue. This safety awareness is evident in our training courses, from the physical surroundings at the venue to the content of the training material being delivered.
Training material and equipment
Typically, training material is provided by the vendor for system certification courses, however we can develop a custom training course to suit your specific needs. Any proprietary system software, upgrades and associated licensing required for training will need to be provided by the vendor. In keeping with typical vendor practices, before delivering new training courses for system certification, our preference is to certify on that system ourselves. If possible, we would seek to certify at a higher level to that being conducted in the course. Where the vendor provides products or special equipment required for the training courses, codingEdge Training will issue a receipt and an assurance that the hardware will be securely stored and carefully maintained. As with software, the onus regarding any required hardware upgrades, will be on the client.
Vendor and organisational security
codingEdge Training is firmly invested in client security. We disclose no information about our specific clients or the training we conduct on their behalf. Discretion is assured by codingEdge Training as a mandatory obligation. A non-disclosure agreement can be drafted prior to engaging codingEdge Training, to protect IP and other sensitive content or organisational properties. If there is a preference for our trainers to present in a vendor unified manner, we can substitute our branded apparel for that provided by the vendor or organisation (typically polo shirts with vendor branding). We do not discuss our client arrangements with the trainees.
